With this release, the reimagined email editor is further enhanced with precise drag-and-drop interactions, easy selection of elements, columns, or sections, and in-context menu for faster content creation, so you can create pixel-perfect emails in minutes
To apply the April release simply update to the latest version, and then navigate to Feature switches (1) and flip the feature flag New canvas experience and Content blocks (2) to from OFF to ON
The editor features a new canvas with fast and precise dragging and dropping experience, and new and improved templates
To help you with more canvas real estate we are introducing a new collapsible toolbar. Simply click the collapse symbol (1) to collapse the task pane and expand the canvas
The task pane collapses into a toolbar that can be expanded as needed. It will expand automatically when elements on the canvas is selected
We also have refreshed navigation from element to column to section with an easy selector on the element (1) as well as a new bread crumb trail in the task pane (2)
The April release also has a preview of our new and improved content blocks. The new content blocks are premade pieces of content that you can insert into emails. They can contain text, images, links, buttons, and more – anything that can be used as content in an email. They also can include formatting and layout. When inserted, all of the content (including the layout, if present) contained within the content block becomes part of the email.
Saving an element as a content block is easy. Simply hover over an element with images, text, formatting and more, and click Save as Content Block on the in-content canvas toolbar (1)

Finally we’ve added a new in-place menu to add element directly in the canvas w/o having to drag and drop for even faster composition of emails.
